Image Studio#
Image Studio is the text-to-image workspace. Its tabs, left to right (the number keys switch between them):
| Tab | Use it to |
|---|---|
| Generate 1 | Write a prompt, pick a model and parameters, queue images. The fastest path to a picture. With the Prompt Builder for structured prompts. |
| Canvas 2 | Compose on layers, paint, generate into a region. Control layers and references steer structure and look; Inpainting and outpainting change and extend a finished image. |
| Upscaling 3 | Enlarge an image with an upscale model and a tiled detail pass. |
| Workflows 4 | Build node graphs for pipelines the tabs do not cover. |
| Models 5 | Install and manage models; presets and LoRAs. |
| Queue 6 | Watch, reorder and cancel jobs. |
| Edit 7 | Instruction edits, adjustments, crop and camera-angle changes on a finished image. |
Every generated image lands in the gallery on the right, organised in boards. From the gallery you can recall an image's prompt, seed and settings, send it to the canvas, to the Edit or Upscaling tab, to a video shoot as a reference, or into a training dataset.
The (i) markers
Most parameters carry an information marker. Hover it for a short explanation and a Learn more link that opens the matching section of these docs. You can switch the markers off in Settings.
